Welcome to Caremiga
Touching Hearts, Transforming Care

Caremiga [keir-mee-guh] was started by a nurse for nurses. Our name is the fusion of “care” and “amiga,” a word meaning friend in Spanish. It embodies our mission and approach of enabling patients and nurses, along with others on the frontline of care, to empower each other toward improved health and fulfillment using technology in unprecedented ways.

Caremiga was founded with a resolute mission to combat the longstanding nursing shortage exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic by providing innovative solutions that nurture the human connection between patients and the professionals delivering their care. Our inception was sparked by firsthand experience and catalyzed by a pivotal report released by AMN Healthcare*. This report highlighted the dire consequences nursing shortages pose on the quality of care, igniting our commitment to pioneer simple and practical solutions that provide instantaneous and autonomous results.

We recognize that uplifting nurses is not only a responsibility but a critical imperative. We aim to infuse purpose back into the hearts of nurses while simultaneously empowering patients in their own care, creating a positive cycle of improved care delivery. By transforming care relationships in this way, we will not only prevent attrition and reduce the critical shortage of healthcare professionals, but we will also create a ripple effect that positively impacts the entire healthcare ecosystem.

The message in that report from AMN Healthcare reverberates loud and clear:

“Uplifting nurses needs to become a national call to action.”
 We are answering that call.

Through Caremiga, we are ushering in a new era where empowering those at the point of care leads to unparalleled results across the spectrum of healthcare.

Join us in our mission. Together, we can redefine
the way nurses enrich lives and transform the industry.
